FS#6249 — Lns IPV6
Scheduled Maintenance Report for Web Cloud
This worktask is only for customers in collect using the IPv6 service.

We will replace the termination equipment of the sessions IPv6 PPP during the night of Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 00:00.
We want to offer IPv6 service directly on our various LNS exit ports in order to simplify its establishing. In the beginning, only the LNS Roubaix will allow you to set up your IPv6 sessions, we will upgrade in a short time the other LNS in order to standardize the infrastructure.

The deployment of this modernization has a few steps:

- Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 16:00: The manager V5 will no longer give LNS IPv6 Roubaix as an option.
- Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 17:00: Radius Accounts will be modified to be compatible with the new system.
- Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 0:00: We will permanently shut down LNS IPv6 Roubaix.

This upgrade is totally transparent for collect customers and will not cause a cut-off. Customers currently using the service IPv6 on the specific equipment LNS IPv6 of Roubaix can smoothly switch their PPP session by simply restarting the session.
The modification operation of the radius accounts of this afternoon is mainly aiming to prefix the Roubaix LNS as outgoing port for customers using IPv6 service. These customers can reset their IPv6 session automatically after restarting PPP.

If the PPP sessions are not switched before 0:00 tomorrow, they will be after stopping specific LNS IPv6.

We remain at your disposal in case of doubts/questions,please contact our technical support for any further informations.
